Example :

    Our school will be having an English Debating Contest that will be held on January 13th , 2014. Registration starts on January 6th until January 10th,2014.

Description : Deskripsi -> bacaan yg memuat sesuatu secara detail
> a statements,pictures or things that describes

Example :                          Big Ben
     Big Ben is the bell that places the hours in the clock tower above the House of Parliament Westminster in London.It weighs 13,5 tons and was very huge.Big Ben was built in honor of Sir Benjamin Hall,who was Commissioner of Works at the time of the towers construction in 1858.

Recount : Cerita masa lampau ( tidak memiliki konflik)
> a story to retell the readers about what happened on past

Example :                        In airport
 
    Luna intended to visit her uncle,Ronald and hes aunts, Ann in london.She went to Soekarno Hatta Airport.There were lot of passengers there. She bought  a cup of tea then she found an empty seat besides some girls.It was quite coincidence that one of the girls was Mandy,Luna's friends when they were in junior high school.
   Luna and Mandy have a lot of convertations.Luna asked mandy where she studied now.Mandy said she studied at Englsih Department in a University.Suddenly Luna looked at her watch," Oh dear ! I forgot the time,I have to go now or i will miss the plane ! Bye Mandy.. See you on the other side!"

Narrative : Naratif >> Text tentang masa lampau dengan konflik

Example : 
                                The Ant and the Dove  
     One Hot Day, an ant was searching for some water. After walking around,she came to a spring.Suddenly she slipped and fell into the water..
      A dove saw it and quickly plucked a leaf and dropped into the water near the struggling ant. The Ant move towards and climbed up there.The leaf carried her safely to the dry ground.

Procedure : Cara" atau langkah" untuk membuat sesuatu.
 Example : How to make Guava Tomatoes Juice
 
         Ingredients : 
      - 150 grams guavas
      - 50 gr tomatoes
      - 300ml orange juice
      - 100ml syrups
      - 100ml ice
     
       Mothods :
  1, Blender guavas and tomatoes
  2. add orange juice
  3. add syrup
  4. serve with ice
